Elon Musk, Dark MAGA and America’s Third Reich

Neo-reactionary politics is associated with terms like “Dark Enlightenment” or Elon’s Musk’s preferred term “Dark MAGA.” These give a tech-bro twist to MAGA’s Christo-fascist wanna-be Nazi thinking like we find in Project 2025. It’s still just the same Third Reich belief system, updated by Silicon Valley psychos who desperately want enough of us to think they’re the next ubermensch and follow them into our own annihilation.

They say that whatever little democracy we actually have is still too much. They hate the idea of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive middle class nation. To them, this “lesser empire” of America’s Second Reich was too weak and must be replaced by the “greater empire” of an American Third Reich. The wanna-be Nazi goose-steppers actually want to be controlled by some sort of dictator or monarch too, an “American Caesar” combing a CEO and a King to become God-Emperor. That’s what Musk wants to be. He’s leading their charge.

As for the wanna-be Nazis just below him, they want a God-Emperor too. They believe that their tiny group of wealthy powerful people, i.e. mostly white men, will reign over us as an aristocracy. They want their little fiefdoms, to be our lords. It’s what they think. They literally and truly believe that they are superior beings…that we are a caste below them, the “unhumans” who must be exterminated to save the nation.

They seek rigid social hierarchies and blame equality for the decline of their capitalist settler colony. To assert their dominance, Dark MAGA wants their God-Emperor to usher in chaos and crisis. This isn’t just about short-term profit, though it’s definitely that too. It’s about what they regard as an acceptable financial risk to justify their attempt, that they may lose money to pull this off and that’s okay. To them it’s worth the risk, apparently.

So they want to foster conditions of chaos and crisis to seize power. That way they can then try to force all of us into their harsh “survival of the fittest.” Ultimately though, their plan is for another Holocaust. They just need “artificial general intelligence” and the mass production of robots capable of replacing us first. Then we will be cast aside, or turned into bio-diesel, probably for their AI datacenters. The want mass extermination to make Lebensraum (living space) for those they deem sufficiently righteous and deserving.

Donald Trump’s role in implementing this fascist agenda is as more of a facilitator, rather than its creator. He’s more like the Chair of their Board of Directors, while Elon Musk is the CEO.

Here’s a brief summary of their plan:

Destroy the Government: The dramatic restructuring of the federal government is driven by Project 2025. This initiative aims to dismantle the “administrative state,” which includes mass firing of federal employees and eliminating much of the government’s ability to function. The concentration of power around the president is intended to remove checks and balances that are fundamental to democratic governance, positioning him more like a dictator under the mask of what they call the “unitary executive.”

Mass Deportations: The plan involves forcibly deporting 15-20 million undocumented immigrants, the most significant ethnic cleansing push in the nation’s history, at least since colonization. The military has been tasked with building detention camps on bases throughout the country, while it isn’t clear how quickly deportations could actually take place given courts, general logistics, etc. The additional question is to what extent will this effort morph into something like the Nazi’s “final solution,” where detention facilities become labor camps then extermination camps.

Economic Catastrophe: The plan includes drastic cuts to the federal budget, proposed at approximately $2 trillion, which would destroy essential services like education, infrastructure, environmental safety, and social welfare. With the addition of Trump’s chaos-creating on-again off-again approach to tariffs, analysts warn that this could lead to an economic disaster akin to the Great Depression. This will position the wealthiest to be able to buy up large sections of the economy on the cheap, while eventually replacing workers through automation via AI, robots, etc. Some have described this as the Putinization of the USA.

Destroy Organized Labor and Wages: A large part of their plan for implementing AI and robots has to do with destroying wages. By this they mean that by forcing large sections of the population into unemployment, they can make it much more difficult for anyone to bargain for better pay, safer workplace conditions, etc. They’re combining this with an all out assault on portions of the government meant to help protect workers, like the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Their plan for making our economy great again is to force most people into working for very low pay, until they no longer prove useful.

Two Genders, One Hetero-Patriarchy: Their plan involves erasing the existence of anyone who doesn’t fit into the two gender binary, while increasing fascist control over bodily autonomy and every aspect of human reproduction. This goes hand in hand with a broader Tech-Bro and Trad-Wife movement that tries to make women’s enslavement to men seem positive and uplifting. Under the mask of national stability and decreasing birthrates, their plan is to eliminate the rights of anyone who isn’t part of those they deem to be ubermensch.

Fascist Militias for Social Unrest: Trump pardoned the J6 insurrectionists. Other prominent MAGA figures have encouraged them to join or otherwise build fascist militias, including elaborately in books like one literally titled Unhumans. The FBI’s new leadership is fully embracing its fascistic origins. The big question surrounding ICE is whether they will deputize millions of people to assist with deportation. This all points to a future where fascist militias exist throughout the country as some combination of a formal and informal extension of official sections of the National Security state.

Environmental Degradation: A major facet of the plan is also an increased dependence on fossil fuels, which would hinder efforts to combat climate change. The administration’s pro-fossil fuel stance and deregulation agenda would deepen ecological crises, while generating public health disasters related to pollution and climate catastrophes. They’re willing to sacrifice whole parts of the nation (and world) in order to pull off their seizure of power. Their true plan to deal with the climate crisis is a Holocaust that kills off enough of us that it drastically lowers CO2 and the rest.
