PROTESTS, SIT-INS, AND OCCUPYING TESLA!
Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s recent fascist coup attempt cannot be stopped by the loosely organized protests of Tesla Takedown. We need to step up a coordinated effort with advanced tactics that include sit-ins and the occupation of entire Tesla showrooms. To help us in this fight, we created the #OccupyTesla website, complete with how-to guides.
Musk’s Power is in Tesla’s Stock Price. To stop DOGE, we need that price to fall. It stands at about $235 per share and even JP Morgan thinks a price of $120 is closer to reality, which means we can easily make it fall another 50%.
Musk has used as much as half of his Tesla shares as collateral on loans. If the price keeps falling, banks will force him to sell those shares to pay down his debt. This will cause Tesla’s stock price to plummet and Musk won't be able to keep up the fight.

Musk and Trump: Stop the DOGE!

THEY DESTROY DEMOCRACY
WE BRING IT TO TESLA!
The current protests at Tesla showrooms as part of the Tesla Takedown effort shows the beginning of real resistance to Musk and Trump’s coup attempt, but we need to be taking the next steps. We need the outdoor protests to be coupled with sit-down protests inside as well. For the more adventurous, occupying a showroom wouldn’t be out of the question either. With our efforts to shut them down, we need to bring democracy to Tesla, both inside and out.
Musk, Trump, and their Dark MAGA movement want to destroy the government and what little actual democracy remains. To stop them, each protest must act as rallying points for communities to come together, just like what folks are doing to counter ICE raids and deportations. They’re building local democratic assemblies as spaces to plan community defense against ICE, and how to stop fascism overall.
We need to expand democratic assemblies in every community AND every workplace to defend against and defeat the fascist coup attempt unfolding before our eyes. So let’s bring democracy to both outside Tesla showrooms, and inside as well.
People can form an assembly to coordinate their actions against Musk at Telsa, while it can grow to become a democratic means of building a much broader movement too.
Depending on police presence, space, etc. an assembly could be formed at the site of a protest against Musk at Tesla. That might prove logistically difficult though.
An inside sit-in would likely not be the best place for an assembly, as chants and general loudness would be a more appropriate activity since it will make selling vehicles much more difficult.
But a full building occupation, closed or open, could easily be a space to form an assembly.
What about Tesla workers in their factories though? What about them?
WORKERS DEMOCRACY INSIDE TESLA:
STRIKE, OCCUPY, AND TAKE IT OVER!
With protests, sit-ins, and occupations occurring at Tesla showrooms, we must also be organizing Tesla workers into this movement, from across their whole operation. Tesla is known for harsh and unsafe working conditions. It’s been aggressively anti-union and fights against the workers’ free speech rights, especially if that free speech goes against Musk, their wanna-be God-Emperor.
Building support inside Tesla will most certainly demonstrate to Musk and the Trump administration that workers will not be cogs in their machine of death. By linking protests outside Tesla showrooms with sit-ins and building occupations, and a movement to organize the same inside Tesla factories, we can stop them! As a core part of this, we need to help build workers democracy inside the factories too.
To organize a strike might seem incredibly risky for someone who works at Tesla. But the reality is that the company’s future is already massively in jeopardy. For those whose jobs are focused on the production of Tesla cars and truck, how many more of them will need to be made when so few people are actually buying them?
For the more fortunate who work there, what will the stock-options be worth if the stock price itself collapses near zero? The only true job security in this situation will come from class struggle. The only true job security comes from being organized.
Just like democratic assemblies to empower our communities in the fight against fascism, so too should workers bring democracy to their struggle inside Tesla. Forming a workers assembly acts as a starting point to create a union. But its true power comes from being able to make decisions democratically, without the bosses.
Musk and other capitalists need our labor, but we do not need them. Musk makes promises of 401k and higher wages to stop workers from unionizing, but his whole Ponzi scheme is unraveling. Soon there may be nothing left.
Workers already make everything at Tesla. Musk and his minions are just parasites. They need workers, but workers don’t need them. Workers should democratically control production themselves. They should control all of Tesla, not Musk and his minions.
Democratic worker assemblies are how this takes place.
It’s time to strike, occupy, and take over Tesla!
